I just came across this on YouTube. It’s an alternative opening credits to “Xena: Warrior Princess.” Have a sense of humor. It’s funny.

The Xena Online Community is currently down for maintenance by the hosting company (Yuku). The board should be up around 8 am Eastern Time. However, because this is a maintenance issue, it could take longer. Hang in there guys.

Rob Tapert discusses series finale

On the sixth season DVD set (Best Buy Version), there was a series of interviews that covered a lot of ground. All of the DVD release contained special cut footage from the episode interviews that were included on the set. My goal is to provide fans with a sampling of what was in those interviews.

Do not comment asking if I’ll post the entire interviews. What you see is what you go. No more. No Less. Once something is captured, I will not go back and capturing additional clips.

This is the last interview from that feature. (NOTE: this interviews are only available on the Best Buy version of the sixth season). Rob Tapert talks about the finale the decision to end it the way they did. I don’t provide disclaimers for any vidoes that I post. Consider this your first and only warning.

Lucy moons the crowd

A few months ago, Creation announced on the concert website that Lucy’s UK concert was not suitable for those under of the age of 18. They were not kidding. Lucy’s first peformance (as of this writing, the second concert is in several hours) was definitely a show-stopper, not too a mention jaw-dropper. SEE THE IMAGE.

There are some other images. As you can see, Lucy didn’t have much on. Curious to see what, if anything, she wears tonight.

With the relaunch of the website, I plan on adding a few more features to the website. Among these include the adding of new video clips to not only the XME website, but also adding them to YouTube (since they usually end up there anyways).

The first clip is alread up. It’s called In the Beginning and it’s from the sixth season DVD release set that contains behind-the-scenes footage and interviews from the first season. It’s most likely a promotional thing geared toward advertisers and station programmers.

In the beginning

This was included on the sixth season DVD release. It was used to promote the series in the first season to lure advertisers and station programmers to buy adveritsing or purchase the series for syndication. It features interviews with Lucy Lawless, Renee O’Connor, Rob Tapert and Eric Gruendemann. The video is about five minutes long.

King of the Dead

Paul Norell (better know to Xena and Hercules fans as Falafel) played the King of the Dead in Peter Jackson’s Return of the King (the final installment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy). He was interviewed last month by Stuff (a New Zealand magazine).

The qualified teacher came to New Zealand in 1980 and worked on the television series Hercules during the 1990s.
