Sarah Palin and Xena Warrior Princess

With the announcement of Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska as Senator John McCain’s runningmate on the GOP ticket, there was almost an immediate reaction of similarity (not in looks, but in the strong-take-charge-sort-way-attitude) with Xena, Warrior Princess.

Regardless of what you may think of her politically, there are some strong similarties in the manner of conviction to do good and to get the job done while breaking down gender barriers. Insert the phrase: Taking on the big boys club.
